June 22nd, 2007

Dear Readers,

Some pronouncements from The Vatican are completely compatible with ANY good person's core beliefs, regardless of their own religious feelings.  So it is, I feel, with the Vatican's recent rules for PASTORAL DRIVING (shown below), which I think we should all try to follow.

Not surprisingly, the list of ten driving-specific "commandments" comes down squarely on MY side, if applied to my case against The State regarding the assault with deadly intent by then-Congressman Randall Harold "Duke" Cunningham against my wife and I.

I find the Vatican's new list SUBLIMELY IDEAL for use in my battle against those operating under American "color of authority" who think they have a right and / or a duty to protect Cunningham from having to "face the music" for trying to murder my wife and I while trying to commit suicide by smashing the car he was driving (a Chevy Tracker) head-on at high speed into the one I was driving (a Honda Passport), after failing to flip his car (have an intentional solo accident) in the seconds prior to aiming for our headlights.  So far, he has gotten away COMPLETELY with his wanton act of attempted murder, undoubtedly because THE GOVERNMENT has CHOSEN TO PROTECT Cunningham from ANY criminal prosecution in this case, and TO PROTECT THE COPS who gave preferential treatment to the Congressman that night, and DELIBERATELY destroyed evidence which could have been used to convict him.  Strong charges and high crimes, indeed!

More than A DOZEN PEOPLE who might have been involved in the investigation have ALREADY either resigned or been transferred, and / or are now under intense public scrutiny.

It is obvious that in the Vatican's opinion, the U. S.  Government has a RESPONSIBILITY to the truth.  They should stop protecting the attacker from having to admit his guilt, and they also should admit what THEY (the cops) did after they caught him -- including somehow "disappearing" my insurance company's record of the phone call I made to them when I got home that night, where I described my attacker (but could not identify him), and complained about the improper police response.  What happened to the tape of that conversation, Big Brother?

In the Vatican's opinion, as expressed in the rules for Pastoral Driving, Cunningham has a duty to admit what HE did.  And since Cunningham (who is currently in prison on other charges) is said to be in failing health, continuing to wait for the "appropriate time" is not in keeping with the admonishment from Rome.  And the cops have a duty (in addition to their SWORN duty) to admit what THEY did.

The government has stalled this case long enough, and enough lies have been produced to prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that the government IS lying, IS violating my civil rights, and IS covering up for SEVERAL HEINOUS CRIMES.  And the media plays dumb - won't lift a finger (or depress a key) to help push for a FAIR investigation.  Won't publish the charge because, they say, it's "too good to be true" (they actually have used that expression!) -- too juicy!  A nearly-successful deadly assault against my wife and I, which DID occur, is "too good to be true" the media tells me, because of WHO it was that assaulted me!

They act like I was telling them it was the Queen of England or something, and I recognized her by her dress and her crown.  But it was "just" a Congressman, and I LOOKED as I evaded him, and I had to know who was doing this awful thing.  And then the same face appeared in front of us all a few days later, when Cunningham confessed to bribery charges and resigned from office.  The deal had apparently been arranged before Thanksgiving, BEFORE the Friday night driving incident (November 25th, 2005), and was set to be announced the following Monday.  Culpability runs deep in this case, including to the "Capital psychiatrist" (Huh?  We have such a thing??  Yeah, we do.) who had secured a PROMISE from Cunningham prior to this event not to act on his "suicidal ideations."

Did U. S. Attorney Carol Lam know about those "suicidal ideations" prior to giving Cunningham a week to think about what he was going to do?  I, of course, knew nothing of these shenanigans, and nor did I know who my assailant was when his headlights aimed at mine and the other driver put his foot to the floor and began matching every avoidance maneuver I made, until I stopped making ANY avoidance maneuvers and WAITED several more seconds, until the last possible moment, when his momentum could not match my rubber-burning, clutch-burning dash out of the way.  But if I dashed too soon or too slow, he would sense it and follow it, and if I didn't make it CLOSE, he would just go for the next car after mine or go back to his first idea, of a lone suicide.  I had to make him BELIEVE there would be a head-on collision until the last possible fraction of a second.  In the event, I had left my tail end out for him to clip, and he did so, and I saw at that time DISPLEASURE -- presumably because I had OUTSMARTED his suicide / homicide attempt.

I submit the Vatican's list as "Exhibit 999" in "Hoffman vs. Cunningham" as direct evidence that social norms favor the plaintiffs, namely, the undersigned and his wife, and not the defendants, namely, Cunningham, the local sheriffs on duty that night, and all those who hold back the truth in this case.

Sincerely,

"Ace" Hoffman

The "Drivers' Ten Commandments" as presented by the Vatican are:
======================================================

1. You shall not kill.

2. The road shall be for you a means of communion between people and not of mortal harm.

3. Courtesy, uprightness and prudence will help you deal with unforeseen events.

4. Be charitable and help your neighbor in need, especially victims of accidents.

5. Cars shall not be for you an expression of power and domination, and an occasion of sin.

6. Charitably convince the young and not so young not to drive when they are not in a fitting condition to do so.

7. Support the families of accident victims.

8. Bring guilty motorists and their victims together, at the appropriate time, so that they can undergo the liberating experience of forgiveness.

9. On the road, protect the more vulnerable party.

10. Feel responsible toward others.
